Khao Yai Nationalpark Thailand - Palm Garden Lodge, Prachin Buri


The Palm Garden Lodge is a small family-orientated Resort at the foot of the Khao Yai National Park, Thailand's oldest National Park. It is located close to Highway 33 in Ban Kon Khuang, a small part of the province capital Prachin Buri. The busses from Bangkok toward Aranyaprathet, from where they continue their ride to Angkor Wat in Camdodia, stop right near the Lodge. These busses leave the North Eastern Bus Terminal (Morchit) in Bangkok once every hour. No matter if you are a backpacker or on your family holidays, the Palm Garden Lodge is a place for those guests of Thailand who like to travel a bit beside the overcrowded tourist paths. In the neighborhood of the Palm Garden Lodge there are some small shops, a small daytime restaurant as well as some noodleshops, small mobile kitchens and a Buddhist temple.

Directly near the Palm Garden Lodge there are even a bus station and a Tuk Tuk rank. There are but a few kilometers to the southern gate of the Khao Yai National Park.

As a guest at the Palm Garden Lodge you will experience an atmosphere that is not falsified by tourism but which offers you a certain comfort and a good service in a rural ambience.

For trips into the surrounding area, individualistic travellers can rent a motorbicycle or the small bus of the Palm Garden Lodge including a driver, but also the tours offered in combination with a guide have a very personal character.

Just like in the Khao Yai National Park for instance, seldom more than four guests are guided at once. This is why during the tours organized by the Palm Garden Lodge the individual wishes of the guests can be realized very specifically and this allows the wonderful landscape to affect them in all calmness.

Due to the central position of the Palm Garden Lodge, Thailand's East Coast, the Isaan and of course Bangkok itself can be reached quickly for further holiday stays.
