General description of the position:
The Palm Garden Lodge is located between Prachin Buri and Prachanthakam, not far from Highway 33 leading to Aranyaprathet at the Cambodian border. A quite large roundabout on Highway 33 can serve for your orientation, it is the origin of several significant roads. It is located on Highway 33 right near the city of Prachin Buri. Both a road into the Khao Yai National Park (toward Pak Chong) and a road to the city of Prachin Buri start at this roundabout. Coming from Nakhon Nayok (Bangkok), the road into the Khao Yai National Park exits to the left and the road to the city of Prachin Buri to the right. In the center of the roundabout there is a fountain. When coming from Nakhon Nayok (Bangkok), to your left hand there is a small market, a PX-Supermarket and an ATM (cash dispenser). The distance from this roundabout to Ban Kon Khuang on Highway 33 is about 8 km (5 miles), at Ban Kon Khuang there is a side street to the left where one can find the Palm Garden Lodge. Near Highway 33 some 100 m (109 yards or 320 feet) before the side street to the left there is sign. Directly at the exit on the left side one can see a Bus Station, a Tuk Tuk rank as well as some shops, another sign indicating the Palm Garden Lodge can be seen some 3 m above the ground.
Arriving from Bangkok:
- take Highway 1 toward Saraburi
- at the Rangsit crossing, leave Highway 1 and take National Road Nr. 305 toward Nakhon Nayok
- in Nakhon Nayok turn right and enter Highway 33 toward Prachin Buri/Kabin Buri/Aranyaprathet
- as soon as you reach Prachin Buri, pass the large roundabout and stay on Highway 33
- after some 8 Km (5 miles) on Highway 33 you reach Ban Kon Khuang and the Palm Garden Lodge
- some 100 m (109 yards or 320 feet) before the exit to the Palm Garden Lodge on the left side there is a an orange-yellow sign
- turn left at the Bus Station in Ban Kon Khuang and you are at the Palm Garden Lodge
Arriving from Aranyaprathet (Cambodian border):
- take Highway 33 from Aranyaprathet
- pass Sakaeo and Kabin Buri
- the distance from Prachanthakam to Ban Kon Khuang and Palmgalo is about 20 km (12.5 miles)
- turn right at the Ban Kon Khuang Bus Station
- after about 70 m (76 yards or 230 feet) the Palm Garden Lodge is on your right
Arriving from Trat (Koh Chang):
- leaving Trat or Laem Ngop, take Sukhumvit Highway (Highway 3) toward
Chantaburi
- before reaching Chantaburi change to Road 317 toward Sa Kaeo
- follow Road 317 parallel to the Cambodian border up to Sa Kaeo
- in Sa Kaeo turn left and enter Highway 33 toward Kabin Buri/Prachin
Buri
- pass Kabin Buri and then the distance from Prachanthakam to Ban Kon
Khuang is about 20 km (12.5 miles)
- turn right at the Ban Kon Khuang Bus Station
- after about 70 m (76 yards or 230 feet) the Palm Garden Lodge is on
your right
Arriving from Khorat (Nakhon Ratchasima):
- leave Khorat on Road 304 toward Kabin Buri
- turn right in Kabin Buri and enter Highway 33 toward Prachin Buri/Nakhon
Nayok
- the distance from Prachanthakam to Ban Kon Khuang and to the Palmgalo
is about 20 km (12.5 miles)
- turn right at the Ban Kon Khuang Bus Station
- after about 70 m (76 yards or 230 feet) the Palm Garden Lodge is on
your right
Arriving from Pattaya:
- take the Sukhumvit Highway toward Chonburi
- after having passed Chonburi change to Road 314 toward Chachoensao
- exit in Chachoengsao and enter Road 304, then drive up to Phanom Sarakham
- in Phanom Sarakham turn to Road 319 toward Prachin Buri
- cross Prachin Buri and enter Highway 33 at the roundabout toward Aranyaprathet
- after about 8 Km (5 miles) on Highway 33 you will reach Ban Kon Khuang
- there is an orange-yellow sign about 100 m before the exit to the left
toward the Palm Garden Lodge
- turn left at the Ban Kon Khuang Bus Station and you are at the Palm
Garden Lodge
